Travel with the experts!

Journey Chiapas is a small family company.  Two of the most renowned English speaking tour guides, Roberto and Patrick Murphy got together and decided to offer quality custom-made services to prospective visitors.

Both of us are historians, Roberto specializes in Pre-Hispanic History and Patrick in Colonial History.  We often get together and enlighten each other with the knowledge of our areas of expertise.  Both of us are professional tour guides with federal licenses.

We focus on providing services that match your expectations. We will brief you to be ready before the trip, and during the trip we will provide you with top quality and updated information.  What you see will be meaningful once you learn the story behind it.

The only way we advertise is through our visitor’s referrals to friends, relatives and associates.  That is why we trust they will put in a good word for us.  It has been a great honor for us to serve our community by communicating the truth about social, cultural, historic and environmental aspects of this land.

"This is the land of ancient wonders and colonial jewls that emerge from the lush forests surrounded by turquoise blue rivers and emerald green lakes"
